Revanth was announced the winner of Indian Idol 9 amidst much fanfare, it was a proud moment for all, judges Farah Khan, Sonu Nigam and Anu Malik were ecstatic and wished the winner all the best.

Revanth has sung over 200 songs for Telugu, Kannada films and is all set to ‘Rock’ Bollywood after his spectacular performance in Indian Idol 9. Some of his recent hits include “Manohari” from the magnum opus BAAHUBALI: THE BEGINNING, and “Chesededo” from the film MUKUNDA. He has worked with some of the most prominent and talented music directors including M. M. Keeravani, Mani Sharma, Saluri Koteswara Rao (Koti), Chakradhar "Chakri" Gilla, S.S.Thaman, Mickey J. Meyer, Sai Karthic , Jeevan Babu (JB), and others.

His inspired performance of “Vey Vey Debbaku Debba” song from the film RAJANNA won him the Best Male Singer at Maa Music Awards. He got Best Debut Singer-Male award at BIG FM for “Ambadari” and “Chiranjeeva Chiranjeeva” songs from the film BADRINATH. He has also received nominations for Best male Playback Singer at MAA Music Awards and IIFA Utsavam for his megahit song “Manohari”.

Revanth continues to enthrall his audiences with spellbinding performances and win them over with genuine charm. He has entertained crowds in numerous live shows in India and around the world in USA, UK, Dubai, Australia and many more countries.

Revanth started his career with music talent shows. After being runner-up in Super Singer 5 and Super Singer 7, he was the winner in Super Singer 8. His success at music talent shows continues as he reaches new musical heights and nation-wide popularity with Indian Idol 9.
